Hassan Raza Khan is a Nepali actor, filmmaker, businessman, and media personality. He first gained public recognition after winning Mr. Rajdhani 2009 and Mr. Capital Kathmandu 2009, marking the beginning of his journey in the entertainment industry. Over the years, he established himself through acting, film production, judging prestigious events, and engaging with social and national issues through media and digital platforms.
Hassan Raza Khan was born on January 12, 1983, in Siraha, Nepal. He is a Nepali actor, filmmaker, and former titleholder of Mr. Rajdhani 2009 and Mr. Capital Kathmandu 2009.
His entry into the entertainment world began after winning major modeling and personality titles in 2009. He later stepped into the Nepali film industry, first appearing in Sathi Ma Timro in a minor role.
His breakthrough came with the film Alvida, where he appeared as lead actor and producer alongside Aryan Sigdel and Anita Acharya. His performance earned him the NEFTA Award for Best Debut Actor in 2015 in Doha, Qatar.
He later went on to produce and star in Romeo (2017) alongside Nisha Adhikari, Melina Manandhar, and Oshima Banu. The song from the film, “Timi Kin Aayang Lyang Gardai Chou Maiya”, became widely popular and contributed strongly to the film’s recognition.
Beyond acting, Hassan Raza Khan has remained active as a judge in beauty pageants, modeling events, and talent competitions. He has also been involved in filmmaking, short films, music videos, public media engagement, and digital content creation focused on national, social, political, and environmental issues.
He is also associated with business ventures under Sahas Group of Company.
In his personal life, he married Saru Baraily in 2019, and they are parents to Sahas Abraham Raza, born in 2021.
